Eliza Cinteză

Prof. Eliza CintezăMd, PhD is a distinguished pediatric cardiologist and academic, celebrated for her contributions to pediatric healthcare in Romania and her dedication to improving cardiovascular health in children and young athletes. A Doctor of Medicine with certifications in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and cardiology, she serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, where she mentors future medical professionals.

As Secretary of the Pediatric Cardiology Working Group of the Romanian Society of Cardiology, Dr. Cinteză is deeply involved in advancing care for congenital and acquired heart diseases. She combines research, clinical expertise, and public health initiatives to promote heart health and optimize care for young patients, including athletes.
