Radu Vătășescu

Prof. Dr. Radu Vătășescu is a renowned cardiologist specializing in arrhythmias, interventional electrophysiology, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. With extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing arrhythmias in athletes, he has made significant contributions to advancing cardiac care. A Fellow of the European Heart Rhythm Association (FEHRA), Dr. Vătășescu is also a member of the American Heart Association and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.

As an Associate Professor at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, he combines academic leadership with practical expertise, having performed over 3,500 pacemaker and defibrillator implants and more than 4,470 radiofrequency ablations.
