Ruxandra Jurcuț

Prof. Ruxandra Jurcuț, MD PhD is a renowned specialist in cardiovascular genetics and cardio-oncology, with a focus on genetic cardiac diseases. She holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and is highly specialized in advanced echocardiography. As the Coordinator of the Rare Genetic Cardiovascular Diseases Expert Center at the “Prof. Dr. C.C. Iliescu” Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, she leads groundbreaking research and treatment in her field. Dr. Jurcuț is deeply committed to mentoring young doctors and is highly involved in the care of athletes with genetic heart conditions, combining expertise in both clinical practice and education.
